OK, It hasn’t snowed here, yet. I haven’t actually used it for its intended purpose. That being said, I can already tell it won’t be real efficient for real snow removal. I think it looks like a big kids sandbox shovel. The telescoping handle isn’t long enough to allow the adult user to straighten up. I am glad I only wasted about $9 on this. I will look for a more substantial shovel.

I finally broke down and ordered a shovel for the record snows in the NC mountains after all the shovels sold out and my car had been stuck for over a week in a massive pile of ice. I think it’s great because it doesn’t take up a massive amount of car room and it gets the job done a whole lot better than hacking around with my ice scraper!

I bought this for dirt cheap and had to use it to free my submerged car (3ft of heavy snow) after the back-to-back blizzards in the DC area. The retractable handle is great to store the shovel in your car trunk.
