The only reason I gave this item one star is because zero stars was not an option! It arrived broken in its sealed blister pack! Bulb reflector was hanging out of its socket and a small pin was rattling around inside the globe. The globe was abraded like it had been rubbed with sandpaper. There was no doubt that I would return it but out of curiosity I plugged it into my truck. Hardly any surprise that it didn’t work. The best news is that Amazon was very helpful and quickly arranged for a return and full refund.

The light was quickly delivered, package was intact and ok but the light itself did not work. One of the prongs on the base of the bulb was broken. The cost to ship it back would have been the same as getting a new one myself. Got a new bulb at Wally World and it works great. Would have gotten 5 stars had it worked out of the box.

Product arrived on time and in good condition. Works as advertised. Has two functions, once plugged into a 7-point electrical connector. One is constant on when the parking lights are on, useful when working behind your vehicle. The other is reverse lights only, illuminating the included halogen bulb only when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. Both work fine and are selected by rotating the barrel of the device. One potential weakness is the minimal assembly standards. The internal electrical connector and the external plastic protective sleeve are connected by only one rivet. When the light is pulled out of the vehicle’s 7-point electrical connector, the light tries to separate into these two pieces. If you are careful, or leave the light connected all the time, you should have no trouble with it. I recommend it and would purchase another if necessary.

Fantastic Product. Great solution for additional light while backing up. Seems to be well made and simple to use. Great price, only wish I had room for a second one.

This is a good concept, but very poor quality. The first one I received was broken and the bulb contact pins were broken off. Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement did not work at all. So I took it apart, and the the wires were loose, the bulb was dislogded, and the spade lug was bent. After about 30 minutes of effort on my part, I was able to get the device to work. It now works OK. However, I expect it to fail due to the shoddy workmanship. I will be looking for an alternative.
